Once the EndNote program is installed, you can configure additional support for each user to use Cite While You Write in Word.
Administrator access is not required to run the Configure utility; anyone that can log into the computer can configure these features. You can do this for each user account on the computer.
Note: Before you can configure Cite While You Write, the EndNote program must be installed.
To configure Cite While You Write:
Log on to the workstation. You do not have to be an administrator.
Go to the server, locate the shared EndNote X9 folder, and run EndNote X9 . This launches the EndNote X9 Customizer.
Follow the instructions to complete the installation, using the Next button to move forward as needed through the installation screens.
On the EndNote Registration window, accept the product key that is already entered into the text box.
The program will locate Microsoft Word files, and appropriately configure Cite While You Write for Word.
